How to Play New Jersey Pick 4?
You can play Pick-4 twice a day, every day with Midday and Evening drawings. Pick-4 is a daily Lottery game in which you
pick any 4-digit number from 0000 to 9999. You can play Pick-4 straight, boxed, or in a number of other bets explained on
the Pick-4 Bet Chart.
Can't decide on four numbers? Then ask for a "Quick 4!" The Lottery computer will randomly select four numbers for you. It's
quick, easy, and convenient. You can Quick Pick as often as you like! Each Pick-4 bet is just 50¢.
You can play the same Pick-4 numbers for up to seven draws. Just mark the number of draws on your bet slip corresponding
to the number of drawings you wish to play.
Select MIDDAY or EVENING draw. If no box is selected, the wager will be for the EVENING draw.
Wagers for MIDDAY and EVENING draw cannot be printed on the same ticket.
You can play "Straight" and "Box" on the same ticket.
You cannot place a "Box" bet when all four digits are the same. For example, 0000 cannot be boxed.
Please make sure to check your tickets before leaving the store to ensure that the proper numbers and dates have been selected.
HOW TO CLAIM YOUR PRIZE
When you win, sign the back of your ticket immediately. Then take it to any New Jersey Lottery Retailer for validation. New

However, they must fill out a claim form, and the winnings will be reported to the Internal Revenue Service. It takes approximately

The Energy Policy Act of 1992, section 1942, requires the New Jersey Lottery to withhold a minimum 25% of all prize payments

a W2-G form to properly credit the withholding as a tax payment on their federal income tax form.
