Smart Pick 1 automatically generates 10 combinations for you, randomly using the
top 6 hot/cold/overdue numbers
from the last 50 drawings of the selected game. (Please see the
Lottery Glossary to learn more about hot/cold/overdue numbers.)
For typical lottery games, Smart Pick 1 will use the top 6 hot/cold/overdue numbers to generate combinations. For Pick 3 and Pick 4 games, the top 3 hot/cold/overdue numbers will be utilized.
For games in which the last number is drawn separately - for example, multi-state Powerball, Big Game and California Super Lotto -
the top 3 hot/cold/overdue numbers of the last digits are being used to generate combinations.
For example, in the last 50 draws of a 6/49 lotto game:
- Top 6 hot numbers: 11, 18, 19, 33, 40, 47
- Top 6 cold numbers: 01, 15, 25, 29, 39, 44
- Top 6 overdue numbers: 05, 15, 20, 32, 39, 49
With this information, Smart Pick 1 will use 01, 05, 11, 15, 18, 19, 20, 25, 29, 32, 33, 39, 40, 44, 47, 49 to randomly generate 10 combinations.
