Someone hit it big Wednesday in the Florida Lotto drawing, but no one grabbed the top prize in the multistate Powerball lottery.
One ticket matched all six Lotto numbers to collect Wednesday night's $15 million jackpot, the Florida Lottery said Thursday.
Wednesday's Lotto numbers were 1, 4, 24, 37, 44 and 46. The winning ticket was sold in Leesburg, the lottery said. Saturday's
jackpot ratchets back down to $3 million.
The Powerball numbers were 26, 50, 51, 52 and 57, and the Powerball was 37. With no winner, the jackpot for Saturday grows
to $61 million.
Five tickets, sold in Florida, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Wisconsin, matched the first five numbers but missed
the Powerball to win $200,000 each. There were no Power Play Match 5 winners.
Meanwhile, no one matched all five numbers in Wednesday's Fantasy 5 drawing -- 2, 8, 14, 21 and 36. In that game, instead
of rolling over the jackpot, it is spread among those who matched fewer numbers.
The 288 tickets with four numbers correct won $555 each, and the 9,576 tickets matching three numbers won $20.50 each, the
Florida Lottery said.
