"I promised them, but do you think they believed me?" 60-year-old Jorma Hogbacka said at a press conference Monday.
Hogbacka, of St. Catharines, Ontario, was one of three winners of Saturday's $44.4 million prize, the third largest jackpot
in Canada's history. The other two winners have not come forward.
"Four years ago, (a psychic) sent me a letter that said 'You'll be rich beyond your wildest dream,'" Hogbacka, a lotto player
for 25 years, told reporters. "It feels like another day, except I have a big check."
Hogbacka said he also plans to use his winnings to travel, buy a new car, and help out his two sisters.
