CONOVER, N.C. -- A convenience store clerk who paid for a Powerball ticket that a customer didn't want is $200,000 richer.
Wayburn Allen mistakenly rang up two tickets for a customer Tuesday, who only wanted one ticket.
So Wayburn paid for the other ticket and took it home, discovering the next day that her numbers matched for the prize.
The woman who didn't want the extra ticket also won $200,000, so the pair hugged when they came to the state lottery office
to get their winnings.
