MEGA MILLIONS JACKPOT GROWS TO ESTIMATED $37 MILLION

The Mega Millions game continued to create excitement this St. Patrick’s Day weekend. A total of 463,815 tickets from coast to coast were lucky winners in the Friday, March 16, 2007 drawing, including three tickets that each won $250,000. Since no ticket matched all six numbers, the jackpot for the Tuesday, March 20, 2007 Mega Millions drawing grows to an estimated $37 million.

The winning numbers in Friday’s drawing were: 17-25-36-40-43 and the Mega Ball number was 9. Here is a complete breakdown of all the winning tickets:

Those three tickets that matched the first five numbers and only missed the Mega Ball number were purchased in California, New York and Virginia.

Mega Millions is played in 12 states: California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.

Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PM Eastern Time, 10:00 PM Central Time and 8:00 PM Pacific Time.
