MEGA MILLIONS JACKPOT GROWS TO ESTIMATED $19 MILLION

In a week that saw Mega Millions break the record for the largest jackpot ever in North America, Mega Millions is on the
move once again. A total of 457,660 tickets from coast to coast were winners in the Friday, March 9, 2007 drawing, including
four tickets that each won $250,000. Since no ticket matched all six numbers, the jackpot for the Tuesday, March 13, 2007
Mega Millions drawing grows to an estimated $19 million.
The winning numbers in Friday’s drawing were: 10-13-25-42-43 and the Mega Ball number was 30. Here is a complete breakdown
of all the winning tickets:
4 tickets matched 5 numbers for $250,000
20 tickets matched 4 numbers + the Mega Ball for $10,000
1,107 tickets matched 4 numbers for $150
1,328 tickets matched 3 numbers + the Mega Ball for $150
23,254 tickets matched 2 numbers + the Mega Ball for $10
60,115 tickets matched 3 numbers for $7
132,286 tickets matched 1 number + the Mega Ball for $3
239,546 tickets matched the Mega Ball for $2
Those four tickets that matched the first five numbers and only missed the Mega Ball number were purchased in Michigan, New
Jersey, Ohio and Texas.
Mega Millions is played in 12 states: California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York,
Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.
Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PM Eastern Time, 10:00 PM Central Time and 8:00 PM Pacific
Time.
