Woman arrested for lottery scam returns to court Thursday

The 21-year-old woman is to answer several charges including conspiracy to defraud and obtaining money by false pretence.
Miss Ricketts was among 14 persons detained during last week’s police operation in St. James.
Two other women who were charged on Thursday were denied bail when they appeared in court on Friday.
They are scheduled to return to court this Friday.
The Major Investigation Task Force and the Fraud Squad are still trying to identify the major players in the lottery scam
which has left several persons dead and others nursing gunshot wounds in the second city.
