Powerball Winner Can't Pay Settlement

Record Powerball winner Jack Whittaker says thieves have cleaned out his accounts.
That's the reason Whittaker says he can't pay a lawsuit settlement.
This information is part of a lawsuit filed this week charging Whittaker with refusing to abide by a May agreement to pay
a woman named Kitti French an undisclosed sum for a personal injury claim.
In a note faxed from Whittaker to French's lawyer, he claims a team of crooks cashed checks in September at 12 City National
banks.
City National Executive Vice President Craig Stilwell says the bank is investigating small discrepancies in Whittaker's accounts.
