Woman Wins Same SuperCash Lottery Drawing Twice
Wednesday, October 04, 2006 posted 01:26 AM EDT
A Sheboygan Falls woman has played the same combination of family birth dates for 15 years in the state lottery. It finally
paid off... twice.
Joanne Douglas picked up her $700,000 check Monday for buying for winning SuperCash tickets from Friday's drawing. She bought
two tickets with the same numbers from Ryan's of Falls in Sheboygan Falls.
She played the lottery using the birthdays of her son, daughter, and grandsons, which matched the winning numbers Friday.
Each ticket was worth $350,000.
The odds of winning are more than 1.6 million to one.
Douglas doesn't want to give her age but says she's more than 60. She works at Kmart in Plymouth and H & R Block during the
tax season. Douglas doesn't know if she'll keep working and hasn't yet made plans for her newfound wealth.
