SCRIBA, N.Y. An employee at a central New York convenience store apparently liked to play the lottery.
What she didn't like, police say, is paying for it.
The Oswego County Sheriff's Department says 29-year-old Mandy Riehle (REEL'-ee) of Oswego has been accused of stealing about
48-thousand dollars in lottery tickets while working at Reds Convenience Store in the town of Scriba.
Deputies tell W-S-Y-R T-V in Syracuse that Riehle has been charged with grand larceny, falsifying business records and scheming
to defraud.
The sheriffs department says Riehle would steal the tickets, and then falsify the store's records to cover-up the theft.
She due back in court on August 17th.
