Friday, April 21, 2006 posted 03:28 AM EDT
LADY LAKE, Fla. -- Two tickets matched all six numbers drawn Wednesday night for the $82 million jackpot and one of the winning
tickets was sold in Central Florida.
A player bought the winning ticket from the Circle K store on Southern Trace Boulevard in Lady Lake. Instead of choosing
their own numbers, that person opted for a quick pick.
The winning numbers are 12-13-17-27-32-36.
Throughout the day and into the night Wednesday, Florida lotto tickets at convenience stores, supermarkets and gas stations
were selling fast, at one point peaking at $46,000 a minute.
All of the players hoped to claim the seventh-largest jackpot since the lotto began in 1988.
The second winning ticket was bought at a convenience store in Port St. Lucie.
Each winner can claim $41 million.
Even if you didn't hit the jackpot, perhaps you won some money. Lottery officials said more than half a million players can
claim some amount of cash.
