FOR nine days Kevan Shergold carried on in his job as a cleaner without having the faintest idea he had more than enough
money to never have to work again.
He and brother Roger had scooped a life-changing £1.25 million on the Lottery but, because he didn't check his numbers,
Kevan was blissfully unaware of his fortune.
Roger, meanwhile, decided to keep his sibling waiting before telling him they were rich beyond their wildest dreams.
Even though he had more than £600,000 in the bank, Kevan didn't immediately give up his job cleaning Fieldway Medical Centre,
in New Addington.
In fact, he only eventually quit when he decided he no longer liked the irregular working hours.
