FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) - It's time to rummage through your wallet or purse, and maybe go through the junk drawer. Because somewhere
out there is a winning Virginia Lottery ticket that's about to be worthless.
According to lottery officials, the Cash Five ticket was for the night drawing on September 15th. Whoever bought it matched
all of the numbers, earning $100,000.
But under lottery rules, winning tickets must be claimed within180 days of the drawing. That means at five p.m. on Monday,
the ticket will become scrap paper.
The ticket was bought at the Safeway on West Ox Road near U.S. 50 in Fairfax.
The winning numbers are 03-07-08-25-27.
