Eight workers at a meat plant in Nebraska will share the $365 million US Powerball prize, the biggest lottery jackpot on
record in the United States.
The seven men and one woman bought the only ticket matching the winning numbers, at a U-Stop convenience store in Lincoln,
lottery officials said.
"I didn't know what to think. I still don't know what to think," said Robert Stewart, 30, a maintenance supervisor.
The winning numbers drawn Saturday were 15, 17, 43, 44 and 48, with a Powerball number of 29, said the lottery association.
The previous record jackpot was $363 million US, for the Big Game lottery. Powerball's previous lottery jackpot high was
$340 million US, claimed by an Oregon family in October.
