Feb. 19 (Bloomberg) -- The largest-ever lottery jackpot of $365 million was sold to one person at a convenience store in
Lincoln, Nebraska.
The winning Powerball number was 15 17 43 44 48 and Powerball 29, said Brian Rockey, a Nebraska Powerball spokesman. The
winner is still unknown.
``We haven't heard from any individual yet,'' he said.
In addition to the $365 million winner, 4,309,550 players won other prizes totaling $38.4 million, Powerball said in a statement.
Powerball is played in 28 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The winner of the top prize can take the money over the next 29 years, or can take an immediate cash payment of $177.3 million,
Rockey said.
The winning ticket was sold at a U-Stop convenience store in Lincoln, Rockey said. The store is on a main highway, and the
buyer may be anywhere by now, he said, adding that it sometimes takes a couple of days before anyone comes forward.
