Lottery News and Stories Georgia Lottery confirms Griffin as big-ticket winner

The Georgia Lottery Corporation has confirmed that William Griffin is the $27 million Lotto South winner.
J.B. Landroche, vice president of corporate affairs for the corporation, confirmed this morning that the Floyd County resident
was the winner.
Landroche and other lottery officials will formally present Griffin an oversized check at 2 p.m. today at the BP Truck Stop,
145 U.S. 411, where Griffin bought the winning ticket Saturday.
The store will receive $25,000 for selling the winning ticket.
